Why can't I/my volunteer/my staff log in to Optima?

If your volunteer or staff member cannot login to Optima and receives an error other than "Login was unsuccessful" such as:
- "Server error in "/" Application"
- "Your connection is not private."
then the source of the problem is likely on the user's computer. Using an old version of your computer's operating system or browser often causes a problem validating the security certificate used by Optima.
These steps will usually resolve the problem:
- Make sure that you are running the most current version of the operating system for both your device
- Update your browser to the current version
- Restart your computer
